REDZONE provides a no nonsense approach to personal safety with the goal to teach our students to Detect, Defuse and Defend confrontations in the quickest possible time. This is not a martial arts course, but rather a practical, effective and easy to learn style of Reality Based Self Defense.
The material taught at REDZONE Reality Based Personal Protection includes how to deal with Personal Self Defense emotionally, psychologically and physically. In addition you are taught how to avoid confrontation through verbal de-escalation / choice speech drills. Our instruction includes the psychology of an attack and how to deal with it emotionally, psychologically and physically. Most self defense courses ignore the first two aspects and just focus on the physical side of self defense.
Suitable for ages 14 years and up.
REDZONE offers THREE training options:
On-Going Training Classes
Just like taking First Aid training, Reality Based Self Defense is a perishable skill set. This means that although you will remember your training when and if the time comes; if you do not practice or refresh your training, you will forget a large portion of what you learned. A monthly membership is on-going self defense classes where you can come and train as little or as often as you like for a monthly membership fee. In addition you will be able to assist with facilitating the training which helps to continue to acquire knowledge and cement what you have already learned. Learn life protecting techniques and change your life by opening your eyes to the dangers around you, giving you situational awareness, and instilling self-confidence that will stay with you for a lifetime. Classes rotate on a six (6) day schedule and each day is a different training focus. The six (6) training days are;

10 Session Introduction Program
REDZONE Reality Based Personal Protection self defense program begins with the Introduction where you learn how to defend yourself in the three fights everyone encounters; the fight against yourself (self doubt); the fight against the attacker; and the fight against society (reporting to police, testifying in Court, Post Traumatic Stress). The Introduction Program consists of 10 hours of training. After completing the Introduction program the student will have the basic information and ability to detect, defuse and if need be, defend themselves in the most common, potentially dangerous situations.
In the Introduction self defense program you will learn:
- Basic self defense and fighting techniques that have been proven to work in real life;
- Mental and emotional conflict conditioning that will promote you to access your primal strength and courage and learn how to direct it against your attacker;
- Instinctive body mechanics of “controlled violence”;
- The psychological and physiological effects that take place when under duress and how your perception and fine motor skills are affected;
Bootcamp Conditioning Class
This is not your typical cardio conditioning class! At REDZONE we don’t stop at cardio kick boxing or Krav Maga; We don’t stop at your typical aerobics class; You will not only get in shape but you will do so while conditioning your body with the functional exercises and movements used in REAL life self defense...You’re not just punching and kicking the air, you will be training with a purpose.

Combatives Class
This is where anyone can attend regardless of where they train. The Combatives Class will be entirely scenario based so that you can put your knowledge and skills to the test and see if they work in real life situations. The Combatives Class will utilize the unique quality of the Reality Based Training Facility which can be configured to mimic various real life situations.
